Never heard about LHDC codec. Do we need another one? Do companies invent new ones just to avoid license fees? Apt-x HD and LDAC sound both sweet to me - I was surprised to actually hear the difference from apt-x, under ideal conditions of course. And most modern android phones seem to support both.
hiilariLDHC (also known as HWA) is a proprietary Hires Codec of Huawei it competes with and exceeds LDAC. Huawei Phones are in wide use all over the world in much greater numbers than the in the US so I makes sense for Senn to include it. Both my Shanling UP2 and Fiio BTR3 include it as well. I guess they forego LDAC for APTX HD and LDHC.
