Sound Design

Manufactured with the latest audio technology, the SE846 monitors contain four ultra-low impedance, balanced armature drivers laser cut for maximum precision. The unique configuration packs four inches of high acoustic mass pathway into each ear, allowing for natural roll off frequencies starting at 75 Hz without distorting the audio signal.

Sound Impressions

As the low end separates from the rest of the signal, it acts as an acoustic low pass filter that allows for true subwoofer-like performance without sacrificing the clarity of the mids and highs. Out of the box, the balanced settings create an expansive soundstage with thunderous, yet realistic sub bass, clear, natural mids, and extended high end clarity. In case that mix isn’t quite your fancy, you can alter the sound profile via the adjustable nozzles.

Keeping that sweet sound all to yourself, the adjustable sound signature is paired with impeccable noise isolation. Different than noise canceling headphones that reduce ambient noise, these monitors prevent outside noise by sealing off your inner ear, giving you the purest possible sound. To make sure your monitors achieve maximum isolation and a perfect fit, numerous tips are included with various styles and textures. The Kevlar reinforced cables lightly hang over your ear and make a sturdy connection with a gold-plated locking mechanism that rotates 360º for maximum movement.
