Well, I can't add a review as I bought my Sierra 2's directly from Ascend Acoustics...they are the best audio buy I have ever made. I sold my Thiel system when I left california (2x 2.2's, 3x SRS and a Bag End Infra sub) and replaced them with a system of 3x Sierra 2's (LRC), 4x Sierra 1's (sides and rears) and a Rythmik sub (FV15HP) in my media room. I don't miss the Thiels! I also have a pair of the 2's in my man cave for casual listening and practicing drums and bass. Being a bass-o-holic I will probably be buying another Rythmik sub (F12?) for my man cave. Anyway, the Sierra 2's are amazingly accurate and do have nice dynamics. Even playing them loudly you don't ever get the sense that they are straining. I HIGHLY recommend these speakers!

Ascend Acoustics specs has max continuous power 150W while the spec here is 200W ? http://www.ascendacoustics.com/pages/products/speakers/SRM2/srm2specs.html Not a big difference for home use I guess. Considering the size and reviews, these look to be a quite good. The anechoic frequency response spec is pretty interesting at 46Hz - 38kHz +- 3dB. Again, this differs from the 41 Hz stated on drop, why is that? The Serra 2EX is probably of more interest for those not using a sub at 38Hz - 38kHz +- 3dB, Eb1, 7th lowest key on piano and well into the lowest audible octave. What is the difference really, well about 3 semitones. Still, quite a remarkable achievement for such a small speaker. Tempting me to consider swapping out my Proac EBTs for these as I don't have space for a sub in the spare room.

Oh, after clicking read more on Drop, this came up: Note: This run is for a pair of monitors. At checkout, choose a Satin Espresso or Satin Dark Cherry finish. That's OK, I missed it as well. Just went straight to researching reviews and the manufacturer etc. I see the question was asked before with less than helpful responses. Why do people have to be such arrogant A-holes?
