I bought these for $14.93 back in 2017 from Music123 out of curiosity. Got one for a friend and another for me. They're really uncomfortable on the ears with the stock pads which are hard, and have a cheap-feeling cable.
Cuppy-sound aside, they have good base sound quality, but internal cup mods definitely would clean-up the presentation and allow more of the positive traits of the drivers to shine. I changed the pads to velour ones from my Technics RP-DH1250-S, and comfort increased, while their heavy bass tamed down.
I did gift mine away due to them being too big for my narrow head even on the minimum adjustment. They didn't seal properly and hanged down below the center of my ears. I had to push them up and against my ears. These are for big nogs. 🤓
