Finally received mine! They sound great, but one problem I am experiencing already is when I plug it into my PC it makes a hissing sound, this weird sound doesnt occur when I plug it into my phone though. Does anyone have a solution for this? Thanks!!!

bluejaycThey are very sensitive, sensitive IEM's do that when they are plugged into some sources. The hissing should go away when you turn up the volume a little.

bluejaycHissing is happening, because of your PC, not the IEM. The reason why you might not hear the hiss from your PC with other gear is because they are much less sensitive than this iem.

bluejaycno head/earphone can produce hiss. it comes from your pc as a noise. can't do anything rather than switching to a decent sound card or dac. buy one, you deserve good sound.

bluejaycI found another solution for you: https://ifi-audio.com/products/iematch/ This device is designed to convert impedance of the load i.e. headphones. I haven't owned one, but I think it can do its job. By increasing the impedance of your headphones, the hiss as well as total loudness will decrease. You can compensate it by increasing volume. The drawback of using such a device is that if it's not quality made, it can change the overall frequency response and even introduce harmonic distortions. Anyways this device is way too pricey. If you don't have a good sound card or DAC, then there are some quite good options under $110. Shanling M0 - which is an excellent DAP/DAC, EarStudio ES100 - which supposed to be a very versatile DAC/Amplifier/BT receiver and FIIO K3 - which is bulky.

lasharelai use them for my VSonic VSD5S (new edition) mostly as volume compression fixer (so i can turn it up to 18/20) And they actually do fix hiss issues like it's nothing (tested on a very noisy badly grounded notebook - works like magic) ^^'' it's expensive, and i never needed to use the < 1 Ohms mode i think it was -16db(A) cut ? The soundchange was just noticable on that mode, but for the default one which also the EarBuddy features (cheaper option without balance support) the sound change is closely to non noticable as the benefits/changes of a clean soundstage are just stronger then the micro sound change the normal mode does You maaybe hear a tinny bit of less bass on something very sensitive like the Campfire Polaris But the change is soo tiny - the benefits of this "dongle" are just waay stronger :) Aka you very likely (if you don't know what to look for) won't even notice the spectrum change~

bluejaycBTW EarStudio ES100 is on sale right now so if you haven't got any real sound card for your PC already then you could try this one. I joined the drop today and hope it won't disapoint me.
