Thanks again for joining the drop with the community. We submitted the group’s order with the vendor for the The Great Dalmuti Card Game shortly after the drop ended and they have begun preparing it for shipment.
Once the group’s order is ready at the vendor’s location, they will ship the packages individually to you as soon as possible.
Once we receive confirmation regarding the shipping schedule from the vendor, we will provide you guys with updated information on the status of your package.
Expect an update from us on 9/7 or sooner.
Hey guys,
Good news! The vendor has agreed to give an extra discount if 55 people join the drop. We've extended the drop by a single day to reach the added lowest drop point at 55 commits. Let's reach the lowest drop point!
The Great Dalmuti is AWESOME. It's not going to be the deepest, richest play experience. No, instead it's a lightweight game that's easy to learn that anyone can play. Works well for 4-12 people, which is especially flexible at parties where you have a number of people often coming and going.
Despite its simplicity, the game still has some strategic depth with the timing of playing your cards, and how many. Rounds take anywhere from about 5 to 15 minutes. You can play it straight up, or have a little fun and play into your roles (perhaps the Greater Peon must refill the Great Dalmuti's drinks, and the Dalmutis will get the nicer chairs at the table, etc.)
At $10 it's great. At $7 it's an incredible bargain. And the art by Margaret Organ-Kean is fantastic.
(I'm buying two of these to give to my friends!)
