This set of IEMs is amazing when you want to get details but is a bit fatiguing for long listening sessions. Look to get some tips that can tame it's treble. The cable gets a yellowish tint from normal usage. The case is great it stood the test of time.
Good price-point audio buy. Treble forward, but not tiresome. They have uncomfortable, larger housing than I am used. But nice looks. The polished machined edges were still irritating to my ears, but I was happy that they had some heft at this price. The stock cable is cheap and frequently lost sound with gentle use at input to buds. Driver quality was satisfactory to very good. Can't recommend because these are now a backup pair of IEMs. I hope this was helpful to you.
Wonderful fit and finish with a lively sound and decent bass.
Tin HiFi includes a decent complement of accessories and tips.
The included box is a nice touch, but is a bit bulky.
Lastly, the T2 is still a worthy sister product, but this speaks to how well Tin have built a respectable repertoire of products in a shortish time frame.
My Tin T2 cable was fraying, and instead of buying another cable, I got the Tin T4 why not? It's a great set to have and I love using them. Audio sounds balanced to me, but that...true neutral sound isn't there? Not an absolute audiophile to provide great details, but it sounds clear enough to me.
If you had to choose between the two, I still think the Tin T2 is the better choice because of price point, and the fact that it keeps popping out of my ears (constant refitting)
There are several ways to evaluate iems- among them, judging how accurate the sound, judging their clarity in Highs, lows, mids, bass, etc.., build quality/accessories, and more. The tin hifi t4 is very good in all these areas except bass -- it lacks bass punch just as the T2 and t3 before it. If you are not a bass head, any of the T's offer good quality suitable for any budget ..
For the price, it performs very well. I like the convenience of it and with an easy EQ, it makes the listening experience very good. The foam tips are a nice touch as well.
I've had a great time with these, they sound bright and are easy to listen to for extended periods, I can't recommend them enough, especially if you find them for a good price .
