Hi, I have the Topping DX7s in DAC mode connected to my laptop, connected via RCA and XLR to a THX AAA 789 AMP. I am using Foobar2000 to play music, have adjusted the Windows audio settings to 32bit/192khz - but most of my FLACs are 24/48/88.2/96 or 16/44 etc. Not sure if this is supposed to be the case - but on the DX7s, it only displays 192khz constantly? Should it not change depending on audio track? I also have some DSD files - and while I can get it to playback in Foobar2000 fine - but do I need to get drivers for DSD native playback on the Dx7s? Thanks for the help!

holdincourtActually sorted it out in the end - downloaded drivers simply. But now within Foobar2000 - my musical spectrum visual doesn't show up when a DSD is playing...odd

holdincourtYou need to install the Foobar WASAPI component and then select the WASAPI DX7S (event) option under "output". Also select 32-bit under "output data format" while at it, because the DAC supports it.

adi518Thank you for the valuable information contained in your comment. I used it more than 2 years after your original post to setup my Topping DX7s with Foobar2000 under Windows 10, and it accomplished exactly what I was trying to do.
