Hi! I'm planning on getting the Hifiman HE4XX. Are they good paired up with the Topping MX3? Do I need any other gear to run the HE4XX other than the Topping MX3? Thanks!

MarppusI have a the HE4XX and was wondering if you bite the bullet and bought the MX3 and if you can share your experience? Some places thinks MX3 is not quite enough but I also heard in a youtube review that it is enough to power so sort of confused lol. Thanks.

cell8290HE4XX have a sensitivity of 93 dB/mW, so you need about 80mW to drive them to good levels. According to ASR the MX3 can put out 229mW at 33 Ohm so I think it should be plenty.
