The exterior build quality is rather decent but don't get fooled by the "hybrid" drivers. They sound just like most single dynamic driver iem. Mine broke after 1 week of minimal use. I'm guessing there was a short circuit or something as it just suddenly died on me while I was using it. Might consider opening it to see what's wrong but until then, I wouldn't recommend anyone getting this.

Anyone else having trouble with them maintaining a connection? Mine are breaking up in their connection with my phone even 1-2 feet away. My 5 other pairs of TWS buds don't have this issue. Right now making them unusable. Was hoping the hybrid driver setup would mean an increase in sound quality, but with all the breakup I can't tell... Frustrated.

Has anyone had a problem with the left and right ear bud "pairing" together?? I have tried everything. Worked on them for about 70 minutes and gave up.

Bob3600I couldn't pair them either. Included instructions are terrible; online instructions better but didn't work. Searched for more generic solutions and tried as many as I could, but nothing worked. Could pair them individually with my music player but not with each other. Result is very poor sound, thin, anemic. Spent several hours on this effort; enough is enough. Too bad, I am a big fan of TRN V90 and hoped for a similar sound with these.

capefearguySorry to hear you had the same problem. Later in the week I received the Sabbat E12 ultra and wow are they great!! Sound as good as anything I own. Great performance. Kind of made up for the crappy ear buds. I sent the TRN's back. Good Luck!!

I’d opt for the MEE x10 from a known audiophile brand available right now in a different drop for only $10 more. I’ve owned several MEE wired earbuds and was always impressed by the sound quality. The x10s get high marks on Amazon. https://drop.com/buy/mee-audio-x10-true-wireless-iem?utm_placement=2&referer=65TWB8&mode=guest_open&utm_campaign=Automated%20Daily%20Promotional%202019-11-02&utm_source=SparkPost&utm_medium=email&utm_term=Daily%20Promotional&utm_content=1572685072135.130954025535572698121768

These would probably garner more interest if they advertised the hybrid dual-driver setup. I’m not aware of any other TWS earbuds with this design. It’s rare enough seeing these with a single BA setup.

Do these allow 'hear-through' software, so the wearer has the option to listen in on his/her surroundings through the microphone? Jabra Active Elite does this, hoping for a drop that does the same and doesnt break the bank...

scottluChipsets alone don't make the sound in a bluetooth earphone though. Drivers, tuning, codecs...
