Price is not attractive enough especially for those who have no chance to audition this. No one is going to splash $1000 (add in cost for ear moulding by your audiologist) on a CIEM without knowing it's SQ and/or sound signature. Personally I prefer the slightly coloured sound of the cheaper Merlin anyway.
IMHO, for a 20 units commitment, I would expect a pricing of around $700 to temp the 20 buyers.
20 people needed to unlock the lowest price. :( Still, it's really cool that Massdrop got a Unique Melody CIEM drop. The last two(?) CIEM drops weren't very impressive.
Thought they were more popular than this! I guess it's because the discount isn't amazing or anything to make people jump on.
I want one, but I already bought a different one last month :(
Auditioned this against Mentor just 2 weeks back...now there will be an even higher end Maverick and the flagship Maestro coming out soon. So...don't you think the prices of the mid-level Miracle should be coming down instead of going up?
btw. calling this a flagship from UM is misleading as there are already a 10 driver Mentor available in the market for sometime now, plus the Maverick & Maestro being announced.
Nothing against Miracle as this is one of the best ciem currently in the market!
