Only 125 hours of use? (15 mins per use, 500 charges = 7500mins = 125 hours) Seems a little low for a lifetime device

But the x3 Hurricane is equal to about 1,000 cans of that junk, that's a huge huge savings, plus it is safe no one can huff the x3 Hurricane. Everyone needs to get with the times, read the label on the back of the can of canned air, are you kidding, DANGEROUS as can be.

It seems like many of the reviews for this are mediocre at best. I have used Metrovac's products to clean dust out of air filters in Afghanistan, and they always did the job well. The ED500 is the one I used the most, but the Datavac also had a good reputation among the people I worked with.

This is pretty cool, but at that price I would be better off buying an air compressor.
I really want something like this, but damn this is way too pricey. Premium price for a very mediocre looking product. If I saw this in a store I would pick it up for like 30-40$.

| It can be charged approximately 500 times, with each charge requiring about 4 to 6 hours for 15 minutes of continuous operation.
4-6 hours for 15 minutes of use? that's not exactly something I'd use for advertising...
DraxorThat's kind of what I was thinking.

How is it vs computer dust? I mean the thin dust layers which aren't causing any trouble but are annoying to see on the gpu, cables, etc'. I remember MD dropped the O2 canless system, from the same company which most people said it couldn't deliver enough air and enough pressure for computer cleaning. Is this just a stronger version? I'm thinking about purchasing the Airrow, it looks massive and the reviews are glorifying it for computer cleaning. Anyone has this one?

Does anyone know how the warranty works? I see on Canless they mention there is a 30 day - 1 year limited warranty, but cant find the specifics for the lifetime warranty

I have the DataVac, which is powered from an AC outlet and has similar attachments. While it's nice in the sense that it isn't disposable, it can't compete with canned air when high pressure is needed. It's simply a matter of physics, you cannot compress air with a fan, and reducing the size of your air outlet to increase the pressure reduces the efficiency of the fan. For this reason when you're using the higher-pressure attachments on the DataVac, a large portion of the air being blown is going out an exhaust vent rather than the tip of the nozzle.
There are air horns for bicycles that are basically a pressure bottle you fill with a pump - someone should (or probably already has) come up with a similar product for dusting.

I have a DataVac and I have to say I love it. I just wish there was a battery powered one that had the same level of power. :/
