Do not purchase an Xduoo TA-20 amplifier through Drop. Drop doesn't include a manufacturers warranty with the Xduoo TA-20. My wife purchased one for my birthday and it was opened 4 days past the 30day return point. The Amplifier is faulty right out the box. The left channel is bad. Its not the tubes or headphones. I swapped the tubes and tried different headphones, both balanced and unbalanced but the hiss and clicking when turning the volume up or down persists on the left channel only. The right channel sounds fine. Here is what Drop emailed us. My wife's name is Jeri,

Hi again Jeri,
That is correct, this item does not come with a manufacturer's warranty. Items that come with more than the typical 30 day guarantee by Drop will state that they have an extended warranty on the product page.
At Drop, we purchase our inventory through authorized dealers. As we then pass along this inventory to our members, we are a third party retailer. As the amp was not purchased directly from the manufacturer, any warranty provided may not be honored, as the purchase was made via a third party. As we are the direct buyer, the warranty is not transferable to the member unless otherwise stated on the run page. Due to prior agreements and contracts with our vendors, we are unable to provide their contact information either.
We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding. Feel free to reach out to me if you have any other questions or concerns.
Best Regards,
Brett

My point is. Drop sells items cheaper but don't stand behind the sales, they don't warranty the items and the item's they sell don't come with a manufacturer warranty. I WONT be purchasing anything else from Drop. Neither will my wife, or my son, my parents, brother or sisters, friends or anyone else I can ge to listen.
NO MANUFACTURERS WARRANTY!!!! Read about all the people who have been burned by this!!!! NOT WORTH THE DISCOUNTED PRICE!!! This is true with many Drop products......
FrostyBud - Hi! ... and Ah ... the question you asked is so familiar .. it is just not asked as politely as you asked .. and the person who has been shouting at me for couple of decades ... is my wife :)
Few reasons, I don't like the Dared amp. Second that itch that we all audio lovers have is overtaking some of the common sense. I do have the Drop THX 789 for now (temporarily) .. but I prefer tube sound over SS and Vinyls over CDs (old school I guess I am). I had some good tube amps ... that I sold off and am repenting. Between the two, I am leaning towards the TA30 ... no need of extra cables as you said .. has bluetooth and from some reviews I read .. 'includes the best of other TA models'. I may skip both .. and just wait for something else to come up. Seems there is no warranty on these and they used to be sold cheaper. Let's see. Thanks for replying and your comments.
RVDIIIaye thanks mate, i was actually worried that i didn't see a warranty on Drop's listing so i didn't buy.
then i saw your post and was like yep made the right call.
but luckily @Fayne was a good lad and gave me the info that it IS supported, by the year manufacturer's warranty. so i happy used my $200 drop points from the 8xx on this!! thanks bro *fist bump*
Totally understandable, the Drop warranty support is pretty lacking on non-collaboration products.
That said, this is an awesome hybrid tube amp at most any price at or below MSRP.
Yeah, makes you wonder when you get a DOA. The worst part is not really knowing if it was damaged when they removed it from the test rig, damaged somehow during transit, or damaged during mechanical insertion process.
Hopefully Tube Depot is easy to deal with. I know they've been pretty awesome for all my orders, but I've never had a DOA from them. Their warranty and returns policy is generally good though, so hopefully things work out.
As you're in Canada, you might also want to check out The Tube Store. Their prices are similar and the shipping may be cheaper. Might not be so useful right now with a DOA tube and dealing with an American vendor for the return, but for future purchases it might be easier.
RVDIIIAhhh yes, really showing off your maturity here as well.
Edit:
Nowhere did I state it was supported by Drop. All of my comments on warranty have been pretty specific about getting support direct from xDuoo. But hey, I guess your inability to read shouldn't surprise me.
