Somewhat disappointing with this knife product. Arrived with some minor surface imperfections (polished out after 4+ hours of work on it.) More importantly, it seems to have been left to etch to long, as their is a noticeable difference in metal height along the flat of the blade - which is a boon for some cutting tasks, and a bane for others. Pretty as this knife is, it's really just that, a showpiece. I would not buy, nor recommend to buy at the price offered on Massdrop. A $30 Victorinox is the better knife, and easier to maintain as well. I mostly use this for slicing apples, and other soft to medium-hard semi-juicy fruits like strawberries, or very thin slabs of meat (mostly beef, such as skirt steak, hanger, and flank, etc... nothing thicker than an inch though.)
