"You may prefer a $1000 pair compared to a $140 pair."

Sound IS extremely subjective. I think what you call natural is actually called shrill, and natural is what some call dark. Hearing a string quartet in person is not the same as hearing a string quartet on a "flat" headphone.
I don't get it what is 1MORE has against international shipping!!! 🤔 as long as I remember non of their drops was ever internationally shipped, yet they sell the same IEM advertised here to you in amazon at double the price in my case (Australia) triple the price @ A$ 312.00 . Maybe this is how they recoup the money they lose as bulk discount to massdrop 😏
If 1MORE would ditch this terrible housing shape I might give more of their IEMs a try. I used a set of their early 3 driver IEMs and couldn't stand the screechy peak in the highs almost as much as I couldn't stand the shape of the IEMs.
If they started making a comfortable over ear set, they'd get back on my radar...
I got my pair actually from 1MORE, but I just wanted to say that these are one of my go to pairs of IEMs, and I collect IEMs! At a savings of $30.00 over Amazon, this is well worth buying.
I owned both these and the triple driver. Very similar sound signatures, both quite 'v' shaped. The quad driver did have a bit more refinement and air over the triple and was a bit more balanced sounding from what I recall. I'd say it was an improvement, and this is a pretty good price (I bought my pair on Azon for $149). However, you can pick up a triple driver over there for $79. Not sure if these are worth almost double the price. Build quality on both was excellent. However, in the end I returned both. That v-shaped curve just got to me after a while.
brownsoxI have upgraded myself from triple to this and I absolutely loved this for few reasons.
1. I find these are much more comfortable and erogonamics fits to my ears
2. The soundstage is definitely wider and much more improved than triple
3. Triple has too much treble , this are mellow, warm sound signature and amazing low end with rammed highs
but to get best out of this, you have to use with decent dac like I am using with iFi Micro DSD Black
I bought these last drop. Honestly, comparing them to their $30 pistons, i have a hard time justifying an additional $150 for the quads. Every time i go running, i pick these 50% of the time and the pistons the other 50%. Now i'm not sure if they need more 'burn in' and they certainly do provide a little more clarity than the pistons, but it doesn't sound good enough to justify the massive price difference. Now i have no idea what their FR curve is, my ears havn't been trained well enough for that...... But i'm still on the fence with these. I'd figure with 4 drivers, the bass would be a touch more extended and larger while providing clarity for days, but this is not the case.
Can anyone else share feedback? Do they need burn in?
I can also confirm the quads need to burn in. I'm not even there yet (only about 10 hours music and 20 hours gaming) because as I said from the EDC3 discussion, I had to contend with large ear tips. The wide sound stage is really nice for iem's. I would not recommend these for gaming because personally I prefer a little bit wider sound stage for better stereo-3D positioning audio.
HispanicPanicHave the Triple Drivers and used 1More's Burn-in app, in addition to regular use. It still sounds, eh, anemic, I guess? I don't know why these things are as hyped up as they are, let alone received THX certification (the reason I bought them). They sound average, but then at $99, it becomes painfully average. That being said, it comes with some great packaging and extras. Still, I don't feel great about spending the money on it.
