Blending vintage tones with modern connectivity, Aiyima’s T8 tube DAC/amp combines audio quality and convenience in a compact package. Handling digital-to-analog conversion, an ES9018K2M DAC chip pairs with a CM6642 USB chip to deliver 24-bit, 192-kilohertz decoding. For amplification, low-noise OPA1656 op-amp and MAX9722 headphone amp chips work alongside a 6N3 tube to amplify your audio with warmth and detail. Several onboard inputs and outputs allow the T8 to connect to a wide range of sources and function as either a headphone amp or preamp for a pair of speakers. For a seamless wireless experience, the T8 also features Bluetooth 5.0 with support for aptX and aptX HD codecs—as well as compatibility with Windows, Mac, and Linux systems.
