TayTayBallsI use it to store my earphones. Don't think of it just as a coin purse, but as a zippered pouch. I've had my coffee one since March. I haven't conditioned or treated it at all and it has developed a nice natural worn look. I did recently discover a small black ink mark on it though, but I think it adds character to the leather. I've purchased a total of 5 of these in 2 seperate drops. Shipping costs seem to be a lot more reasonable to my location (NY).
When I was a kid, all the truly geeky, pocket protecter-wearing teachers I knew carried a one of these squeezy rubber coin purses.

Looks like today's version is a fancy-pants leather job selling for thirty bucks?
Then again, Allegory's is square, rather than oval shaped, proving once again, Huey was right--it's hip to be square!
Almost pushed the "Join Now" button...... then I saw the postage was as much as the product *sigh*. Will have to think hard on this, I need a coin Purse.
TasselhoffSame for me. Pfff.
The shipping costs are way too extreme for some drops lately.

What is the actual size of this thing? The dimensions claim that it's 3.5 x 4 inches, but then they also say it's not big enough for a standard ID card. I have a small card holder I carry that holds credit cards and driver's license just fine, and it measures 3 x 4 inches. What's going on here?
If you made a small leather pouch that was designed to carry a few edc items like a swiss army knife, space pen, etc. I would be interested. But please do not put stickers on your finished product as it ruined the finish. I thought this product would work for carrying small edc items but it was too small.
Was about to buy then i saw shipping cost to AU. Its impossible to work out why a knife is cheaper than a small leather pouch, ive given up trying to work it out
monkeycYep, US to Aus shipping has always been a ‘pull ya pants down and bend over’ experience with some vendors.
I prefer to give not take though, so bypass those who try every time.
Just got my item in the post. It's exactly what the product was touted to be, a coin purse, albeit a pretty good quality one, too. Now... I'll admit upfront that I had zero intention of using this as a "coin purse" whatsoever. That being said, for the quality of the product that I received at the price paid, I am rather pleased overall that the intended purpose is being served as envisioned in and in a degree of rustic style. Although I personally feel that the Massdrop advertisement treatment on this product with images showing EDC items stuffed inside to be quite misleading. You'd be lucky to fit a roll of quarters in this thing and still be able to zip it closed. Granted, sure, it's leather and will stretch over time if stuffed to the gills with minted dead presidents on a regular basis. Upon receipt, the actual usable storage dimensions are roughly that of the width and length of a credit card, and volume-wise MAYBE ten bucks worth of quarters and some change, that's about it. You certainly won't be putting your Crux knife, AAA flashlight and key-capped Cherry-MX fidget clicker in there all at once. SMH
Mine has held up very well in it’s job segregating change from the rest of my EDC kit inside one of Allegory’s in-pocket EDC organizers. I had a second one for those ‘minimalist days’ (you know, lol). I like the idea of an internal key ring but for my sheer volume of keys (but that’s what key-biners, etc are there for). They are tough stuff and worth it.
