the $200 base price is misleading the most expensive I found was $150 on amazon and that's because it's only 3rd party sellers these are $110 on ebay and such
edit found out the company that develops these is the amazon seller

Are these real? The earphones upon arrival weren't even secured in their molds, and there is a spelling error 'detaehable' on the front of the box...

MadraiIf you order a pair of chifi iems and there ISNT a spelling mistake, they’re probably fake.

League544I think many get wrong generalization of 'Chifi'. Bigger brands normally does better with QC, it's simple as that. Big Chifi audio brands like Edifier, Xiaomi, Meizu is like Sony, Shure, and JBL to their market.
Most budget Chifi buds from oversea/Aliexpress etc are more or less considered as 'Generic' products, could almost be seen as the same tier as drugstore earbuds! You'd be surprised to see how many of those brands were formed by teams with less than 10 employees.
There's drawbacks, no doubt about it. But it's also fun with all the intangibles. I'd say go with bigger brands if QC and warranty are your concern. Small brands don't give a damn about those things.

I look forward to receiving them. Hopefully they ship out a bit earlier than late this month. Hoping they'll be an upgrade from my hifiman re-00 I got 4 years ago.

teosji wouldve bought these so hard already here. they said its cuz of shipping issues in here, and i believe them and understand, but, im sure if your website can deliver to mex (with its long delivery time, or option to pay extra for faster one), that Drop should be able to deliver here too, i know its hard, but.

League544Different strokes for different folks.
The ear insertion of the etymotic is a negative to some, whereas these are really comfortable in my ear holes.
