Are these real? The earphones upon arrival weren't even secured in their molds, and there is a spelling error 'detaehable' on the front of the box...

MadraiIf you order a pair of chifi iems and there ISNT a spelling mistake, they’re probably fake.

League544I think many get wrong generalization of 'Chifi'. Bigger brands normally does better with QC, it's simple as that. Big Chifi audio brands like Edifier, Xiaomi, Meizu is like Sony, Shure, and JBL to their market.
Most budget Chifi buds from oversea/Aliexpress etc are more or less considered as 'Generic' products, could almost be seen as the same tier as drugstore earbuds! You'd be surprised to see how many of those brands were formed by teams with less than 10 employees.
There's drawbacks, no doubt about it. But it's also fun with all the intangibles. I'd say go with bigger brands if QC and warranty are your concern. Small brands don't give a damn about those things.

the $200 base price is misleading the most expensive I found was $150 on amazon and that's because it's only 3rd party sellers these are $110 on ebay and such

I bought these in the gold nugget color during the indiegogo campaign. Yes they do look a little tacky, but once you listen to them you won’t care. These are the only IEMs that I would rank among over-ears for bass response, it manages to be booming at times without washing out the full audio spectrum. They’re very responsive to EQ, again probably the only pair of IEMs that I would rank with over ears for versitility. You can tune these to just about any sound signature you could ask for. I personally prefer V shaped signatures, and these fit the bill without EQ. Clean bass and crisp highs. For the first time since I started in this hobby, I don’t think I’ll be buying another pair of IEMs for quite a while.
The early bird price on Indiegogo was $89 iirc, I would happily pay $99 if I didn’t already own them

Hmm i dont think u can play spotify on any of those players.... I dont use spotify but i dont think it has a eq in that app. What kind of phone are u using? If the eq isnt satisfactory i would maybe get a android audio player on the side and use that for music.

I've been using one called Wavelet to compensate for a 3dB loss of hearing in right ear. Still a 'flat response' guy?, so haven't used the EQ, but looks decent. Give it a shot. Nothing to lose. Good luck.😎.

HwoALanGYou need to know how to work with what God gave you, not everyone bless with a 9 mm . In other word don't let the size fool you I have 70mm, 100mm planar magnetic headphones, 12 BA driver earphone all collecting dust thanks to a 6 mm driver from the Final Audio E2000

F00lw0lfHello, this is Teo from Alpha & Delta. As mentioned previous, it was a few drops ago. The factory made a mistake and some of the earphones were shipped without the cable. We have sent out the cables to the affected customer and did a 100% check on all our stocks to make sure that the same problem will not happen again.

Can't go wrong with a powerful micro-DD tucked into a tiny, ergonomic housing. Glad these made it past the initial Indigogo campaign cause they're pretty awesome.

The ear insertion of the etymotic is a negative to some, whereas these are really comfortable in my ear holes.

Hello everyone, just for clarification here. All KS3s shipped will come with the cables. In the previous drop, the factory made a mistake and some KS3s were not shipped with cables. We have remedied the problem. As an extra precaution, we will make sure that the cables comes packaged before shipping it out.

teosjDo they black shells have the AD logo? They don’t in the photos here, but I’ve seen photos in some reviews and they do.

alvinherpHello, the black shells no longer come with the AD logo. The ones shown in the reviews were perproduction prototypes. After we stopped printing the logo during the production run as we realised that the gold flacks interfered with the printing when done on a bigger scale.
