Does anyone know what PCB is in this board? I've been trying to fix it for over a month now and I'm not getting anywhere and want to just keep the case and replace the PCB.

UHHHH I read the reviews before testing mine out and I did find a bunch of dead keys. Based on reviews, I thought "bad board!". BUT... NOT SO. User error. The sockets seem pretty tight and pretty easily bent my switch pins. When I finally figured out how to get the switches out, sure enough, the dead keys had bent pins. Obvs many people here are having actual PCB or socket issues, but if you're like me and this is your first time putting a switch into a socket... be gentle. I can't help thinking I'm the one one this happened to :-(

Mine didn’t come with a manual, so I don’t know how to program the backlighting! I haven’t been able to find one online - is there an online version someone could point me to, or can someone reply with a couple of photos with the info?

hmm, just got mine. installed switches. installed caps. testing and everything seems to work fine until... hm, no pause/break key... can probably live without that. no page up key... eh can maybe live without that. no page down key... ehh this is getting worse. no right arrow key. definitely can't live without that. so it's actually the entire rightmost column of the board that seems not to work. i can't really read the instructions so i guess there could be a hotkey to turn that entire column off, but i don't see why there would be as that doesn't make much sense. haven't yet pulled the back off the keyboard to inspect, but it sounds like probably a solder problem. perhaps that entire row to the controller or something? anyone have any suggestions or should i contact massdrop support and try to get it replaced?

nightdriverIts the kailh hotswap sockets attached to the board. Every person has been having trouble with them because they're poorly soldered onto the board.

nightdriverSucks bro, I would contact support, if you try and solder the sockets and they still don't work then the issue is elsewhere and now you are screwed. I would take the back off and see if any sockets have a gap from PCB or just not enough solder, also check to see that all the circuitry is intact. see all those tiny bits ? Make sure none are missing

Just got mine in today. Only switch that isnt working is the F4. I guess i can live without Alt+F4. The cable that it came with only gave the keyboard power and was not recognized as a keyboard by my computer.

madcheesepuff"rigorous testing". I've got it on the desk and two 13yo kids have been mashing on it during Roblox, Minecraft and homework. So far so good👍

Lets do this again. Box Navy switches and with every switch i put in I lightly press against the hotswap sockets so they don't pop out when I put in the switches (maybe I'm just paranoid but I dont want to do this again).

madcheesepuffI actually took the back off the case and held/supported each socket as I inserted each switch. 👍 Rereading it sounds like you are doing the same... Hope it all works out.
