I'm using that exact combination and extremely happy with the sound. Such a pity that TheBit disappeared off the DAC scene. Incidentally I've tried other DAC products and whilst trying these out I find myself immediately returning to the Opus #11. The Sabre DAC by provides absolute clarity whilst the bottom end remains excellent. I use UAPP and have boosted the sub and low bass slightly with the HiFiMan HE 400i sounding superb

You would need the Apple Lightning Camera adaptor to make it work.

The Head-Fi reviewer referenced in the description had this to say of the Hifiman HE400i which is also planar and has almost identical sensitivity as the t50rp mkiii. "Pairing the HE400i with the Opus #11 worked better than I expected. Just like with the Q701 there’s more volume available when reaching a satisfying listening level.  The relaxed, smooth and creamy sound from the #11 makes the overall sound with these two together very nice in my opinion."
