ahmad_aleisaThe Head-Fi reviewer referenced in the description had this to say of the Hifiman HE400i which is also planar and has almost identical sensitivity as the t50rp mkiii.
"Pairing the HE400i with the Opus #11 worked better than I expected. Just like with the Q701 there’s more volume available when reaching a satisfying listening level. The relaxed, smooth and creamy sound from the #11 makes the overall sound with these two together very nice in my opinion."
JosephHarbinMedicalOrderlyI'm using that exact combination and extremely happy with the sound.
Such a pity that TheBit disappeared off the DAC scene.
Incidentally I've tried other DAC products and whilst trying these out I find myself immediately returning to the Opus #11.
The Sabre DAC by provides absolute clarity whilst the bottom end remains excellent.
I use UAPP and have boosted the sub and low bass slightly with the HiFiMan HE 400i sounding superb

I just got one of these in for testing. The actual box specifies 2.1Vrms w/o load , not 1.9Vrms w/o load.
Nope, there's no lightning adapter in the box. It does say that Opus #11 will work with the Lightning to USB Camera Adapter, though.
I don't have Dragonfly Red in right now, but from memory it sounds similar-ish to Cayin i5 which I do have in right now. I'll try and give those two a back to back listen soon and report back in. It's hard at this time of the year, though. So busy!
From memory though, I'd say Opus #11 is more on the neutral side vs DFR. I've been using it primarily with IEM but will throw my Nighthawks in the mix and try to report back before the drop is over.
iOS connection kit: MicroUSB to USB A cable, short MicroUSB to USB A cable
Is this a mistake? Because this will not get you connected to any iOS device. Is anything included to actually connect to a lightning port?
someonesaveusYou need apple cck. This is standard for most days with iphone. Big difference with this one, you have to use their cable with the cck. If you use a regular micro USB it will try to charge from the iPhone and won't work.
