Engineered using select audio components and enclosed in an all-aluminum casing to protect the circuitry, the Audio-Technica AT-PHA1000 DAC/amp will give your headphones a serious boost. The sound is rich and detailed throughout the frequency range with ultra-low distortion. You’ll find a 3.5-millimeter input and a USB micro-C input, as well as a high/low gain switch, a machined aluminum knob, and a five-stage sampling indicator for the digital input. And don’t worry about running out of juice: the AT-PHA1000 has a 6-hour battery life when used with a digital input and lasts 14 hours when receiving an analog signal.
