Why would i buy this on Drop with Drop's terrible customer service when i can get it directly from Audio-Technica for the same price? Isn't the entire point of Drop to be cheaper?

screwballI will agree with you about price. Drop should re-think their marketing strategy. The new "Drop Rewards Point" system is annoying to say the least.
But when it comes to customer service, I'd bet you won't even get an email reply from AT Japan. In my experience, Drop customer service is second only to Amazon.

ArjestinIt really is too bad about DROP (I still don't regret my HD6XX purchase). $1899 USD?! It really should be cheaper than buying it directly from AT.

screwballAnything that isn't a collaboration gets the manufacturer's warranty, anything xDrop is gets a Drop warranty. So in this case you get free Drop bucks and a manufacturer's warranty.

rhpot1991The only items with manufacturer warranty will have that cited in the details, others have only Drops DOA warranty.
