Following such highly regarded in-ear monitors as the AT-CK10, these IEMs mark Audio-Technica’s next foray into the affordable, high-end IEM market. Both models feature balanced armature drivers: three per ear in the LS300 and four per ear in the LS400. They deliver clear, balanced, immersive audio, with the LS400 bringing a powerful, fully realized bass. To reduce unwanted resonance, the housings are made of rigid stainless steel and tough Tritan resin. Specially designed acoustic sound pipes guide music from the drivers to the listener’s ears with improved high-frequency response, and the ear-tip posts are angled for a comfortable, sound-isolating fit. The IEMs come with a 3.9-foot cable with an inline mic/remote and feature Audio-Technica’s new removable A2DC connector, which allows the cables to be easily replaced.
