Featuring a geometric faceplate with shiny, colorful hollowed-out details, the AuGlamour RT-1 IEMs are sure to turn heads. And they bring the goods outside of the looks department, too Read More
Ok folks, I own Westone UM Pro 30's (V1 & V2) (3 BA Drivers per ear) IEM's, as well as Nuforce Primo 8 (4 BA Drivers per ear) and EDC (Single Dynamic Driver per ear) IEM's. But I've still never tried a hybrid IEM like these, and I love the colorful geometric look of these! Should I take a gamble for around $50? Or just stay clear of these altogether and be content with what I already have?
These have a DRIVER impedance of 60 ohms, but the input impedance is what you need to pay attention to! These have a 32 ohm input impedance, and a sensitivity of 105db. So these should be pretty easy to drive/power IMO! My original EDC's have a low 90db sensitivity and are probably harder to drive than these are FWIW 😉
Got mine yesterday, tried them out... left IEM was completely dead. Based on the few seconds of one song I listened to before discovering that, these do sound good, but I can't really say much other than that. Maybe I'll like them if I can get a replacement.
projectssjThey really aren't that tough to drive. Their sensitivity (105 dB) is enough to let them work fine ampless. I run mine most often with my Shanling M1 or LG G5, no amp.
