Aune B1S Portable Headphone Amp
Compact Amp for Demanding Headphones
Powerful but compact, the Aune B1S portable headphone amp makes a great pairing for high-end digital audio players when you’re trying to drive more demanding headphones. It features a class-A amplifier, a spec generally reserved for pricier desktop amplifiers. This allows the B1S to drive full-size, power-hungry headphones like the Massdrop x Sennheiser HD 6XX and the HD 800. Two output options can be toggled on the side of the unit: the 20mA mode for 10 hours of play, or the more powerful 40mA mode for 5 hours of play with more demanding cans. Head-Fi’s ahmadfaizadnan used the B1S with the HD 6XX and had this to say: “If you’re looking for a mellow-sounding amp that has tons of detail and clarity, look no further, because the Aune B1S has got you covered.”
