(First of all, I'm not an expert when it comes to audio... so here's little review for the Aune S6) If you like rich warm sound with some extra bass (which I am) and decent balanced output, the Aune S6 might be right choice for you. It has a warm sound signature and good details. My first impression when I listened to the single-ended output is like mehhh (this thing really cost $400 hmmmm), then I switched to balanced I was like holy sh*t. The balanced output gave me more air, little more soundstage and slightly more punchiness in the bass (that my HD 6XX needed yay!) although the Aune S6 is somewhat very neutral sounding to me. Conclusion - if you looking for DAC/AMP combo for your HD 6XX or 58X, this might be the right one, and the build quality is solid. If you buying this, you are looking at balanced output :)

Aune s6 looks like a well built, weighted dac. Unfortunately it suffers from some limitations: 1) a madness in 2018, but a remote control is missing 2) The sound output from the headphone is higher than the signal to be sent to the amplifier. Already resold.
