B&O Make solid hardware... But their software has always been terrible. I'm not surprised stereo pairing doesn't work anymore. I went in a on a few s3's (steeply discounted) back in the day and the software was terrible. I imagine the software on these is terrible too, that's why they don't support stereo pairing anymore. Which was the issue with my S3s, getting them all to sync up induced brain damage at times. Stay away from Beoplay products if you're considering any kind of wireless system with more than a single speaker. In that regards, they are all show and no go. When you see Beoplay products discounted steeply like this, there is always a technical reason.
Why not making in the same shape as the flip?
More comfortable, more durable, more usable?
Waiting for good the company that will make a speaker with good sound quality, Ipx, more than 10h of use and durable design.
Till than my flip 4 will be in use.
The flip 5 is out now.
Yeah, but if i want a pocket one, i will be consider the jbl clip or go 2 on a half price.
Doesn't meet with you expectations?
Order this in double price more.
The sound is clean. Not bad for mono but is not worth the price. Battery life is not very good. The Bose soundlink color is a better alternative. At least it can be paired in stereo.
For anyone interested, I contacted B&O and the stereo pairing of two of these speakers is not possible. From what I understood, it was previously possible but has been phased out.
I've owned one of these for a few years. Great little speaker. Tiny, solid build quality, great sound. Seriously great sound, let alone for something this small.
The one complaint I have is that it's battery life is terrible. Not just that, but it will limit max volume below a certain battery percentage. I'd rather it just die out sooner and still retain a higher volume, so I find that feature pretty damn annoying. I basically keep it plugged in when in-use.
Still a great little travel companion, though, and if I had paid the $80 offered here instead of the ~$150 retail I'd feel less salty about the crap battery life. I've brought it with me all over the world and will likely continue to do so.
