In terms of pure build quality, you’d be hard-pressed to find a watch that stacks up with the Ball Engineer Hydrocarbon DeepQUEST automatic. Aesthetically, it’s super legible, too. Made with a titanium case, it’s lightweight and super strong. (Even the bracelet on the all-metal model is crafted from titanium and stainless steel.) The case features a unidirectional bezel to help you track elapsed time. The dial is styled like a classic diver—however, it’s a Ball watch after all, which means it’s loaded with tritium tubes with a lifespan of 25 years of illumination. To protect the dial? An anti-reflective sapphire crystal. To power the watch? Ball’s own RR1101-C automatic movement. It’s available with a rubber strap or metal bracelet.
