Born on Kickstarter, Designed and assembled in Chicago, the Beastgrip Pro transforms your phone into a monster rig—allowing you to capture better photo and video by adding stability, mics, lights, and lenses. The modular design is compatible with virtually any smartphone and expandable based on your needs. Use it as a basic tripod mount for ultra-smooth shots, add a directional mic for interviews, and swap out lenses at will. Or, remove whole segments by simply loosening a few screws. More versatile and powerful than its predecessor, the original Beastgrip, the Beastgrip Pro has been featured in CNET, TechCrunch, Digital Trends, PetaPixel, and elsewhere.
Note: This drop is for the Beastgrip Pro. At checkout, you’ll have the option to add a DOF adapter (+$99), Wide-angle lens and Fisheye lens (+$45) or all three(+$144)
The DOF adapter allows you to mount SLR lenses to your Beastgrip Pro to achieve a shallow depth of field. With the 0.43x extreme wide-angle lens, you’ll be able to capture a wider field of view than your phone’s stock camera lens. The fisheye lens produces strong visual distortion and enables you to shoot a 180-degree field of view in a single frame. Compatible with the Beastgrip Pro and any other phone case with a 37mm threaded lens mount, both lenses have a removable macro lens component than can be used separately for close-up shots.
In 2012, designer Vadym Chalenko set out to create the world’s first universal lens adapter and camera rig. After a year of engineering and testing, he launched a Kickstarter campaign for the original 3D-printed Beastgrip—and the company was born. Over the next few years, with the help of a growing team, Chalenko made improvements to functionality based on user feedback. The Beastgrip Pro launched on Kickstarter in 2015, and exceeded its funding goal within 24 hours. Since then, the company has expanded its product line to include a range of accessories, all proudly designed and assembled in Chicago’s Kinzie Industrial Corridor.
