Bertucci makes durable watches for adventurers, outdoorsman, and active individuals. The A-2S is a no-frills timepiece that won’t let you down, no matter where you roam Read More
Watch is available from Marc at Long Island watches. Just checked his site and it’s CHEAPER WITH FREE SHIPPING AND IN STOCK. $65. And unlike the fool in charge of watches here, Marc actually likes watches and respects his customers.
Dont buy from drop. They don’t respect you, your money, or the watch community in general. Almost any watch on drop can be found elsewhere at the same or lower price from retailers who actually listen to their customers and respect them. Drop is a joke unless you want to buy knives, Audio gear or custom made keyboard caps.
"One size fits all?"Good to know; I'm sick of taking my watches to the tailor for alterations! On a serious note: these folks make a bewildering assortment of similar looking field watches, which upon closer inspection, turn out to be very different animals. First thing I noticed was the version offered here is their smallest and least expensive model. The next thing was that although they do make larger, better specked versions and types (pilots for instance), their site shows nearly all of 'em "out of stock" Fortunately, a quick jaunt over to Amazon shows good stock on all versions. So, unless you're looking for the smallest/least expensive model, a quick visit to Bertucci's website to look over their full line up might be in order:

RayFTheir catalog is bewildering indeed, you left out their other site:

This site adds their steel, aluminum and polycarbonate-cased watches, as well as straps, accessories and Pre-Owned watches. I wonder how they keep their production lines straight.
Wow, you're right--that opens up an entire otherworld I wasn't aware of--even more bewildering than the other (great straps, by the way).
Did you notice the C-1T Lusso Field line? Really nice and very affordable. Would like to see MD do it on their next Bertucchi drop.
Nice but due to lockdown we in the UK can't buy from Drop because to pay the duty involves a non essential trip to a Post Office to collect the goods and pay the VAT etc 😔
I have the 36mm time-only A1-S field in white, and I adore it. I'm a sucker for time-only white dial watches in general, but have found that this watch is light, durable, easy to read, and makes for a great "beater." I wear mechanicals to work (desk job), but for yard work, kayaking, etc. I always go quartz, and I always take my Bertucci. I wish there was a silicone band option though - even nylon soaks up stink after a while. And for those who think NATO straps are dorky (I certainly do...), cutting the loop-back portion of the NATO strap completely off makes it look and feel like a normal strap.
You guys - I had NO IDEA there was a separate website solely dedicated to field watches... My wallet just got thinner...
I love my Bertucci A-2T with date (now as low as $119 at some sites). I've had it since 2007 and it has hardly aged. Over time, I have acquired different color NATO straps to compliment my outfits. or reflect the seasons (gray in winter, red in summer, etc.). I try not to collect watches, but I gave-in and got a couple of new retro-revival styles by Seiko. But I will always have a Bertucci field watch. The screw down crown and ultralight titanium case are the big features. Perfect for men with thin wrists, as well as women and teenagers.
