If these are anything like the em5813's then saying that they'll sound congested i.e. no auditory spacing between instruments/voices is a massive understatement.

UriahQuite simply put: they don’t. From what I can recall from the Blue A8’s there is a similarity in sub-bass presentation but is faster. The mids are more open and not as syrupy. The treble definitely has instantly noticeable extension over the EM5813’s. These will still be “L” Shaped overall but with less mid-bass given it a spacious signature. Those are just my .02.

Can anybody comment on whether these fit well into smaller ear canals?
For reference: T2 didn’t work for me. JVCs are just ok. Etymotic, Pinnancle, Final Audio, EDC are all ok for me.

dgt5I use med ear tips and find these to fit quite easily. The flange on these are fairly long and with a conical/round aesthetic I can’t imagine them being uncomfortable. I hope it helps. Happy Listening!

this item is now much more expensive than EM5813, while the latter is higher in listed initial price.
from the available reviews, I believe this A8 is better sounding than EM5813.
However, why the estimated shipping time is the same as EM5813, I just cannot handle the run-in process for 2 earphones at the same time.

Are there options for different cable terminations? Can we get something different from the standard 3.5mm connector?

sg60The stock 3.5mm TRS is the only option available on this drop. If you want to send them back in for re-terminaiton we can change the plug for $60 plus shipping. 1/4" TRS is popular as is 2.5mm balanced.

Imo, I dont like how the cables that connect to the earpiece itself are two different colors
