CEntrance Ampersand Headphone Amplifier

The challenge with collecting high-end, high- and low-impedance headphones is that they typically require desktop headphone amps to achieve the audio response they deserve. The CEntrance Ampersand meets the challenge head-on—providing up to 3 watts of power for left and right channels, with balanced input capabilities. There’s a three-way gain switch to provide the right amount of juice for the headphones you’re using, and one large, satisfying knob on the top to adjust the overall volume with a simple touch. There's also a Fix/Var switch that lets you control volume from your DAP or the on-board, high quality, analog pot—as well as a calibrated, LED VU meter for each channel to monitor your input and avoid overloads. It all runs on a lithium-polymer battery that provides about five hours of playback on a single charge—which means that the Ampersand will be with you for the long haul, no matter where you take it.
