You know, when I think about "...a solar-powered everyday watch with style" this BM8475 Eco-Drive Solar isn't the first watch that comes to mind. And why settle for common, everyday solar power when, with todays technology, you can have ATOMIC POWER?!!!
Yes, that's why for me--and guys like me, who really dig overcomplicate shit we seldom ever get around to using, we chose the real, he-man's Citizen, the:

I just checked the lume on the dial of my orange-on-black/tan leather strap version that I bought over 2 years ago. Happy to report that the numerals, indices, and hands all glow very nicely with a lime green color. I just picked up the black-on-black/nylon strap version from this drop and guess I'll see the lume characteristics of that one when I get it. Regardless, I really like the dark, sinister, stealthy overall look of the watch in daylight, so I'll like & enjoy it no matter what. Hope this helps you decide to snag one of the 2 beauties in this drop.

Do not get the all black unless that's really what you want. I have a similar watch with a Chrono, it's impossible to read unless your in daylight and even then it's tough. I never wear it.

Citizen's site says the indices or hands glow in the dark but others complained it did not work. Can anyone address whether the glow in the dark feature actually works?

Only thing is you can't tell whether it is at full charge even if exposed under the sun for hours.
