This is my first chronograph and for the price I am very happy. I wasn’t aware that the second hand didn’t move unless you are using the timing function, not an issue but something to be aware of. I have changed out the band for a nato style which I like much better. The number markers are very shiny which takes a bit of getting used to. Overall I’m very happy with it, the weight is nice and the case isn’t so big it looks rediculous. I’ve added a couple of photos with the nato band.
Looks like a $300-400 watch in person. Sapphire glass adds $50 in value, and we are talking about a $150 drop price. I have my doubts on the 200m rating, considering no screw-in crown and the chronometer pushers, but it should be fine for swimming, scuba diving, and similar. It does have a screw-down back. It's a subdued looking watch (despite being blue), except that the applied markers and the hands are quite shiny, so it's an interesting contrast. The blue face turns to black as you view it from the side. Just about a perfect casual watch. Probably not conducive to replacement straps, in that the pins are a good 1/4" from the metal body, but I'd be curious if anyone has tried that. It could be pretty stunning with black leather straps.
