DriggityYes, they appear to be. They are white so either Teflon or Nylon. I have not taken it apart to verify.

I always see people bitching about the pricing of drops cause they can find it for maybe a lil cheaper or same price as amazon or some of the other knife distributors. Massdrop has never said they are the cheapest or best deal, but they are going to offer better deals then the manufacturer direct will.

UsrnameUnknownBut what is the justification that folks should use, and tell themselves, in order to pay more for the item at Massdrop than somewhere else for the same item? Is there an implied loyalty that is supposed to overwhelm us and drive us to buy from Massdrop, no matter what? Have to remember to factor in shipping and sales tax as well. Because if there is a secret way to get folks to blindly follow Massdrop no matter what the cost, then I'd like to know the secret, so that I can do this myself as well.

Massdrop did issue me a refund, albeit begrudgingly. I had to be stern, direct, and insistent. It's going to take more than a refund for Massdrop to win me back. Frankly, I think this is the last time I need to do business with them.

FlexRockwellThanks, glad it worked out for you. This drop is the only one I have had an issue with. Normally their communication has been good and the are pretty much on schedule with my purchases.

Too bad they didn't do this one in D2. Probably would have bought one in D2. Lots of folks might have bought one in D2.

Nice upgrade and lovin the D2 option. Kinda wish there was a satin blade D2 version thou. I wonder what the black coating is? Not expecting dlc but i wonder if its like a blackwash type or just paint?

lol i just bought this knife last week off BladeHQ. $50 for the D2 black coated blade with black G10 scales.
Don't buy here, this isn't a deal at all. Any other knife store selling these will ship out faster and have a decent return policy.

BkjenkinsI got mine 2 weeks ago from Massdrop. I dont understand why the others haven’t received theres yet. I’d say I am pretty disappointed with the quality of the knife though
