I have an Otter Box Defender case on my XR, will this be compatible with it? If so, would be worth the money, should hold up a lot better than an Apple Dongle.

FrogmeatI replied above to another user. It works with a case. My case is maybe 3 mm thick and there is probably another 3 mm to spare. I haven’t had it long enough to confidently say it’s more sturdy than the Apple adaptor.

FrogmeatUpdating to let you all know, I have an iPhone XR with an Otterbox Defender case, and this adapter fits no problem with the case. One good thing about Lightning plug is you can insert it either way, unlike the USB micro plug.
