So, all this thing does is throw away the line that carries the reverse phase signal and give you a single-ended connection. You lose all the benefit the balanced connection gives you (which is just noise-rejection). This would function in the same way a cable/converter works. IE, it defeats the balanced functionality.

The listing still says they are sold in pairs, while people below are saying they're being told they have the option of returning the single adapter they got or getting a partial refund less than 50% despite 50% of what they paid for missing.
Which is it for orders made now?

knew this would be too good to be true anyways, given a single adapter is sold for $40 everywhere else. There was no way Drop of these days was gonna have a deal as good as selling two for $35...

jkhmonkeyI am like 85% confident I am the reason they changed it. I literally pointed them to ddhifi. Quite frankly ddhifi page was not very straight on qty when I looked prior. Regardless Massdrop is the middle person making a cut, they should know their contracts..period. They were going to give me a 20-25$ refund, after telling them this was fair, eventually I told them if everyone cannot get it I am not going to shut my mouth... and basically they could keep it and learn a lesson. I ended up getting the 10$ on my account without asking . This wasn't adjusted like this on their first drop and the fact that they cannot spend the time to fully correct is ridiculous. Trust me I have photos on the descriptions. Also one lucky guy got an additional when he only got one.
The problem is when someone is misled on description and not as smart as you, when they know it is wrong (a) or should do a better job.
Doesn't matter anymore this was the tipping point for me on Massdrop. I have dramatically stopped, now I just need to stop popping on MD ever here and there.

Regarding the mistake they made by saying you would get a pair instead of only one, I think they should own it and send the second one. The drop wasn't even that popular and it's an inexpensive item. $35 each and they only sold 86, it's a $3,010.00 mistake that I'm sure they can cover.

LordBorgGot an email from Drop - send it back for a full refund, or keep it and receive a $7 partial refund.
File a ticket with support and let them know what your particular choice is.

Where is my second adapter? As this is what i paid for? Everyone should now receive a second adaptor as massdrop has already done for one customer.
I don’t want a store credit. I want what i paid for.

If it wasn't a two pack I would buy it to have since I have drop rewards to spend. I'm sure I'm not the only one Drop.

I d love to get my hands on this. What i actually need is the 2,5mm adaptor but seen it gone makes me think i should buy this one for there s a good chance i wont be finding this one when i need it either...
But the two pieces set is a drawback mainly cuz it increases the price over the customs free limit in my country. And its not just the charges. Its also a big fuss and additional cost for the process
