Perfect case!
I’m using it for an Audeze LCD-3, Fiio M11 Pro, and balanced cables. It’s perfect and feels more protective than I expected. I removed the additional padding in the bottom to size it for the headphone. It reminds me of the old school cases from headphone.com that would carry a headphone, amp, and CD Player. Would make an huge audiophile setup easier to carry!

Nice compact headphone case, maybe a bit tight.
Love the case, I got a new Sennheisser x Massdrop HD 6XX and bought two of these cases for said headphones as well as an older Denon AHD7000 I was daily driving. I must say it's a very nice well built case. Good padding, lightweight, sturdy and comes with a zippered pouch for cables and/or accessories. Only thing I would say not so much negative but more of a preference, is that when you have the cables on the pouch, since it's on the top flap that you open, it tends to press down on the headphone and sit very tight. Not so much a problem as then they would stay secured, it's just that I would prefer them not be so tight inside the case. This is more important if your headphones have fixed cables, as they would be pressing against the foam inside and maybe warp them/kink. Again, it's a very nice case, appealing to the eyes and lightweight but sturdy. I would have preferred them be a little bigger so more robust headphones fit snug but not too tight. Still a 5 star case.

My HD 598 did not come with a case and I wanted to keep them in good shape for travel. While they fit the headphone, the stock cable was too long for the inside compartment and had to be stored in the outer compartment. There was some additional room on the inside that I squeeze my DAP into, but it wasn't a dedicated space and could easily move around. Had another divider been included, that would allow a DAP or portable DAC to be secured between the earpads.

bluelink91Agreed. I didn’t include that in my review but I can’t carry my old Fostex HP-P1 with me when I use it. Big shame considering the Dekoni Blue’s I use with it require quite a lot of power anyways. :(

There's a lot of storage space.

There's about “pelican 1010 ~ 1030” three cases in bag.

Lightweight, Useful Little Travel Companion
At any discounted price, this little bag is a good value travel companion, especially if you like to travel with your more delicate, heavy, or accessory-laden cans. plenty of storage for adapters, cables, and portable dac/amps. I can't see many pairs of headphones having issues fitting into this, especially if you collapse adjustable headbands and disconnect cables.

Very small
Very small size, if the headset is a headband with superior steel, it cannot be closed. To this we add negatively the lack of response from Drop towards a serious problem, when you buy the product you pay the shipping, in my case DHL leaves the merchandise to another company, Correos, which will charge me a new shipping cost, if not you pay, you do not get or they deliver. Drop DOES NOT solve this problem, this is called fraud. After multiple purchases I have decided not to buy anything in Drop again.

Does not fit properly
It looks and feels great, but it's small inside for some cans. I just tested the case with my Sundara's and DT770s and neither of them fit properly. You can close the zipper but with a lot of effort and obviously by forcing the upper part of the headphones. The height of the case inside is too short imo

Quality, but ultimately useless
The point of these is to protect your headphones while traveling, they do this job very well. The build quality is excellent, and they fit my headphones (HiFiMan he5xx) comfortably. My issue is now that I have the Dekoni case in hand I can’t imagine a situation I would choose to use this product. For something to be portable it should be easy to carry or easy to pack into an already existing bag you have, the Dekoni by design is neither of those things. It’s very thick and chunky, it sticks out no matter how you wear it. By itself the Dekoni is larger than the bag I usually take with me when I go out. It’s also too big to fit into the “larger” bags and backpacks I would normally choose if I was going to bring my headphones with me. If a case requires that I carry it *in addition* to the sizable bag I’m already carrying rather than fitting inside of it , then it’s not travel friendly. Anyone that’s worn more than one shoulder bag/backpack at a time knows how awkward and encumbering multiple bags can be. The issue is the fact that the Dekoni was designed with multiple headphone form factors in mind that were never intended on being travel-friendly. You could probably design a sleek form fitting case that could make one larger set of headphones still manageable to pack, but to make a generic case it has to be larger to account for the varied shapes and contours of different headsets. For example: I could pack my he5xx cans comfortably in my mid size Yoshida Kaban shoulder bag, but there’s no way the Dekoni could possibly fit in there. The only use case I can think of would be if I was traveling via air or in a car and needed something to protect my headphones while they’re with other cargo. However, if that was what I needed I’d just buy a cheap Apache cargo case from Harbor Freight. TL;DR: Great quality product, reasonable price, but no situation I can think of would call for it to be used over cheaper / similarly priced alternatives.

Thanks for your comment! The rating of a product isn’t just a measure of if the product is made competently, it’s also the value of the product compared to other options as well as the usability of the product. The product was described as a “Carry Case”, therefore critiquing it’s ability to be carried compared with other options available is to be expected. It’s also worth mentioning that my review is subjective based off of my needs and opinions. You as an individual might find that the Dekoni is a completely usable size and not cumbersome at all. In my opinion however, the Dekoni doesn’t succeed at being a portable stand-alone headphones case. It’s an awkward in-between size where it’s not compact enough to be a secondary bag / fit inside larger bags, and it doesn’t hold enough to be the only bag you carry. If I had three options: -the dekoni -a bag large enough to fit my headphones + EDC -a headphones case small enough to be put inside of a larger bag I would pretty much always choose options 2 and 3 over option 1. If you as a person are going to the trouble to carry a bag you want it to be either large enough that it can hold all the items you want to carry, or small enough to be non-intrusive. The Dekoni is neither. The only use case where the size of the Dekoni is not an issue is if you don’t actually plan on carrying it with you. If you planned on using it for storage at home or for protection during a road trip / plane trip it would be a pretty good option. However, at that point it is no longer being used as a carry case. Also, you can get better quality protection for cheaper than the $35 Drop price that would also fulfill this use case. One example of a competing product for the storage use-case I mentioned in my initial review was the Apache hard plastic case you can buy at harbor freight. I’m sorry if my opinion makes you frustrated or doesn’t match up to what you think, I didn’t write my review to be controversial. These are my honest opinions and my personal experience when attempting to find a niche for the Dekoni to fill.

@IvanDaTerrible the last time I checked, reviews are composed as a comprehensive opinion one has formed about a product and the experience it provides. You may get an item that was as described and still feel that the item is ultimately not what you wanted. Which is exactly why @Narcolle mentioned in the comments and in the TLDR that the quality and the price of the product is desirable. I found the review to be helpful and decided I would make the purchase anyways because I was looking for a case for my headphones for my up and coming move and not for carrying it around for daily use. As this is a "carrying" case I appreciate the specific experience on what kind of "carry" this is appropriate for. Both a laptop and a smartphone is considered and labeled as "portable" device but one fits in your pocket and the other doesn't. A&K SP2000 is "portable" but it's a different kind of portable compared to Shanling M0. If someone expected one thing and received the other, that person is only right to share that information to the others and describe exactly what they experienced. That's you know, the point of reviews. As this is a review, it exists to help others make decisions on whether they should use their time and resource to try out the product. Generally, when one criticizes someone else's opinion in this setting it serves one of two purposes: 1, to add an opposing view to the pile of information on the table and present a balance picture. 2, to tear down someone else's contribution so that you can feel good about yourself without contributing anything meaningful for others. I can see you are definitely not doing the former. If you think a review that involves a negative personal experience about a product that does not align with yours is senseless and it upsets you to a point where you just have to go around and starts commenting hyperbolic non-sense to attack the reviewer, you must be in a lot of pain reading through these reviews on drop.com. I kindly suggest stop putting yourself in pain :) XOXO

Holds everything you'd need. Great for travel.
This case has semi-rigid padding. I definitely feel like my headphone is adequately protected. It also has assorted pockets to store any adapters, DAPs, or cables you may need for travel. The only con: it's a pretty tight fit for my Focal Elegias. The top bulges just a tiny bit. Any other headphones should fit fine.
CasualListenerHave you pulled out the bottom divider?

If it's bigger then is perfect.

Overall experience so far is great, but because I have and had some really large headphone like example, HiFiMan HE1000SE. It doesn't fit. If is like 3-5cm over all of larger, then anything should fit. ( Maybe not fit Abyss 1266. That's a large square shaped and not fold )
