The bass response looks pretty strange on the MK3, with the 30hz square wave having phasing problems (the dip), left and right phasing differently, and the response dipping below zero (https://www.innerfidelity.com/images/FostexT50RPMk3.pdf) vs the Mad Dogs (a mod of the TRP50 headphones: https://www.innerfidelity.com/images/MrSpeakersMadDogA.pdf which also have the characteristic Fostex dip but looks way better. Whatever mod MrSpeakers adds is superior to this one at least on paper. Any thoughts on what's missing on this headphone? Is it just inferior pads not letting the bass seal as well?
dm94aq7^^^ that is not the Square Wave graph of the Dekoni Blue, that’s just a standard Fostex MK3. The Mr. Speakers and Dekoni headphones are both mods.
