Just received Elite Sheepskin for my LCD-2. Fits very nicely, not as good with foam fillment as originals, but higher, keeps ears farther from drivers. Soundwise: more bass and spaciousness in midrange. Gentle press for better fit = sounds mostly like originals.

dk604The hardest part is to take off the old ear pads. From that point it is fairly easy. Never the less, I've had to order original ear pads from Audeze. Dekoni are too stiff. After long listening sessions they are simply unbearable.

dk604Yes. Current production leather earpads from Audeze, as same as their previous ones from 2015-2016, are much softer. That is the reason why I am currently listening with my LCD-XC, waiting for my package with original Audeze earpads, so I could be able to wear my LCD-2 comfortable once again.
EDIT: New pads from Audeze arrived. Dekoni were blown out of the water - day and night difference in comfort. I can now use my LCD-2 few hours straight without fatigue.
