Drop needs to source out & offer a 4 pin XLR to 4.4mm TRRS adapter at an affordable price now that 4.4mm has become more prevalent.

Add me to the list of people who would like Drop to sell the exact same adapter but in a 4-pin XLR-to-4.4mm Pentaconn version. Yes, I know it can be bought via AliExpress or Venture Electronics own website (veclan.com - which (as I write this) is an insecure website, BTW - HTTP, not HTTPS), but it would be nice to have them available directly from Drop, esp. at $20 with much faster shipping instead of $30 (+ shipping), from China.

Why can't you just add the 4.4 adapter already Drop? We all know the company your buying them from makes them. Instead of being able to give you guys the money and get it in a week I had to order it from China and wait 3 weeks to get it.

May sound stupid to the experienced fellows. But I need to check: if I used this adaptor with the stock drop 6XX headphones do I get balanced headphones or do I need to get balanced cables?

Marty2021You need a balanced cable, yes. This adapter only converts from one balanced connector to another.
