First let me say, I'm not someone who writes reviewed often. I have to really believe in the product for me to put my stamp on it.
That being said, I purchased this item on March 13, 2019 to add to my EDC as I needed a flashlight that was compact but powerful. With two brightness settings, an option for a Cree LED, and a touch of style, this was the perfect addition for me.
Fast forward to 5 years and two days later, this flashlight is still kickin'. Those that complain theirs stopped working after two months perhaps received a bad unit - I have had no issues. The only time I've had the unit stop working is when the battery has died or it was accidentally left on. It's an EDC flashlight - it's great for looking in dark places, taking you dog out at night for a pitstop, or other conveniences. Perhaps some here are using it to light their way through the Amazon at night but that's definitely not what this is designed for.
Set your expectations accordingly, and I think you'll be pleasantly surprised. If you want a no-nonsense EDC flashlight you can grab-and-go with, this fits the bill. Do yourself a favor and get the Cree LED option.
Perfect small form factor to carry every day or leave on your desk. Comes in handy and I use it almost daily. Does burn through batteries, but I prefer that to one that does not get bright enough.
Used less than a dozen times and the switch failed. Tested by switching with my older Titanium AAA Flashlight and that switch works on both bodies. Such quality control is sad - good thing I didn't rely on in.
I keep it in my car as a great emergency light! But it's overall a great light! It's not super bright (it is a small flashlight now) but great for its size.
Overall it is a solid flashlight, but the clip was flimsy, and it literally broke the first time I unclipped it from my coat pocket. It is reasonably bright when on its high setting. I like the blue color, but since it spends most of the time in a pocket, that hardly matters.
