On top of its solid build, its also quite neutral sounding and I will not recommend for bass heads. The bass is clean and controlled, but IMO it's not eardrums shaking type of quantity. It's decently detailed throughout the audio range for its price. However, you'll probably want to do more research on its comfort first because it's a subjective topic and these earphones are by no means light due to its tanky build.

The sound is great, but accessaries are not
The sound is great. However, since the IEM is made of all-metal housing, it will fall off your ear from time to time only because the housing is too heavy. The accessories, especially the carrying case, started to peel off, and the back of the case where it's glued on fell off, even though I put it in place and never used it. It could have been better since the build quality of the IEM is great.

Double Your Bass and Double Your Fun with the Drop
If you're looking for a pair of in-ear monitors that can deliver big, bold bass without sacrificing clarity and detail, look no further than the buds. These babies pack not one, but two carbon drivers into each earbud, for a sound that's twice as awesome.
But let's get one thing straight: these IEMs are not for the faint of heart. If you're a basshead who likes their music to thump, you'll be in heaven. But if you're an audiophile who craves nothing but purity and precision, you might want to look elsewhere. These IEMs are all about the boom.
That said, the bass is not overpowering or muddy - it's tight and controlled, with plenty of impact. And it's not just the bass that shines - the mids and highs are clear and well-defined, too. Whether you're listening to hip-hop, EDM, or metal, the IEMs deliver a dynamic, engaging sound that will keep you grooving.
But let's talk about the design for a minute. The earbuds themselves are small and sleek, with a stylish carbon fiber finish that looks as good as it sounds. The cable is sturdy and tangle-resistant, and the included tips offer a comfortable fit for most ear sizes. And if you're one of those people who always loses their earbuds, fear not - the included carrying case is both durable and stylish.
One caveat: these IEMs do require a bit of burn-in time to really come into their own. Out of the box, they might sound a bit harsh or brittle. But after a few hours of listening, the sound will mellow out and the bass will become more textured and nuanced.
Others can offer audiophile insights. I can say that they are by far the most detailed IEMs I've ever used if seated properly in the ear. Being able to experiment with the filters to find a preferred sound makes these a good entry level audiophile set IMO.
The selection of eartips should allow one to find a good fit. The substantial weight of the IEMs may make it a little trickier to get the fit right, though the rotating housing leaves room for a lot of adjustment.
The weight becomes a problem if you're doing anything active. These are not good for running. I find they fall out, and the cable noise is substantial. Maybe aftermarket tips that sit more firmly in the ear would help with this. Also not great outdoors in the winter due to the aluminum housing.
For listening at home however, I am very pleased with this purchase. They also provide good passive isolation--nice for long flights.
