A legendary knifemaker. A legendary design. Meet the Drop + Terzuola ATCF Tanto: based on Bob Terzuola’s signature folding knife, a design that shaped the industry as we know it today.
If you are into that sort of thing. Even my custom terzuola ATCF is not likely drop shutty. So like my comments for Drop collab production knives, use them as the daily user, and keep the custom as a shelf queen (if desired) as a collector.
A superbly finished knife with a slightly aggressive look.
Sturdy and built to cut without flinching.
Flowing mechanism and very contained weight.
it's a bit different from what we're used to seeing and I think it's cool.
Still good value for the price. Nice for EDC, but pocket clip creates hot spot under hard use. I am a sucker for anything with G10 scales, thats why I bought it.
Great knife for the price! Action is smooth from both the thumb disc and flipper tab. My only wish would be that everything was a little more contoured, but then it wouldn’t follow the Terzuola ATCF true to form.
This knife has good balance. Opening is very smooth, and the lock is solid. The scales on my particular sample feel nice; this knife will undoubtedly prove to be comfortable to use. The metal of the blade seems solid so far. This brings me to my biggest complaint about the knife: it’s extremely dull. The arm hair test yielded the worst results I have ever seen. I lost not a single arm hair to the ATCF. I was initially confused, so I tried with a TB Prism. The Prism shaved a strip in my arm hair. Also tried was a Skif, which got at least a few hairs. The Skif isn’t even that sharp.
This is the dullest knife I have ever laid hands on. I had sharper knives as a child. More attention needs to be pair to sharpening these knives in the factory. If you aren’t going to make them sharp, at least include a sharpening stone. The price is very high for a basically nonfunctional knife. I need something capable of at least cutting plastic wrap, and it remains to be seen if the ATCF can even do that.
I was not expecting the zip up container, but it feels alright.
Oh, shipping takes a while. Ordered May 23, received July 22. If you need something quickly, do not buy this knife.
