I reckon the Massdrop guys really dropped the ball with this one. They clearly cut and pasted most of the article from a previous drop from late last year complete with "delivery in december" when it clearly says late April in the text. No wonder almost no one joined. A number of people even brought this up early in the drop and it wasn't corrected. Come on Massdrop. Feeling let down here.
Edit: and now I see they've removed the "delivery in December" bit after the drop has ended. What's going on Massdrop?
Looks like it's finally been changed. On a side note though, these earphones are brilliant. I've owned both these and the DN-1000. It's true value for money. My only issue would be the non-detachable cables. It's given me several connection issues in the past, but when they work. They're magical.
It would be nice if somebody from Massdrop actually read the comments and remove the 24th of December shipping from the description page because if it stay we will never be able to reach the lowest price. Everybody makes mistakes but you should have fixed it days ago!
MilesJasonRomainWell, what IEMs do you have, or have you tried, that are better in all regards + 3 dimensional for about $250? I have iBasso DX90 as well.
I was also worried about the cable. I previously owned a pair of etymotics er4i and after a year the cable broke. I'm currently using hifi man re-400 which I've had for about 1.5 years, and now both cables have split at the stress point. I really wanted detachable cables, but the Dunu DN-2002 are a bit expensive, unless all of us here requested for it...:). It's good to hear that the wires are reinforced. I was almost considering the Dunu Titan 3 or 1, but unless I'm mistaken, they use a single dynamic driver, and I saw the Dunu DN-2000J as a good buy for a 3-way IEM.
Dec. 24! And here I thought the wait for the Fostex TH-X00 purpleheart drop was long. Must be a typo since I see April 26 on the bottom of the description page.
