Edifier Technology Corp has made a name for itself with self-powered speakers such as the top reviewed R1280T and R1700BT models, both of which have earned thousands of rave reviews in the entry-level audiophile space. Building on the success and core features of these models, Edifier is back with the R1280DB, which adds Bluetooth, digital optical, and coaxial inputs, as well as dual RCA ports, to connect to virtually any device. Each pair of speakers features a 4-inch main driver and a 13-millimeter silk dome tweeter to deliver solid punch and detail. With 21 watts RMS per channel, R1280RB provides impressively rich and full audio from its relatively small form factor.
