Yo why would you charge $5 more for your customers and have them wait 4months (which knowing drop will probably be more like a year) when you can buy it everywhere else for its actual price of $170😭
"It’s the first to showcase “patch keycaps,” which feature a two-part system comprised of a base and a detachable top panel".
lol no.
These have existed, mostly on Point Of Sale keyboard since at least the 70s.
Yea, I ended up noticing that after posting my OP. I was thinking about it, but then, this layout seems kind of annoying, counter-productive even. I'd like to hear other opinions though.
Wow this is interesting. I have a first generation Minila with MX Browns that has been my portable mech. The key layout takes a little getting used to, namely the 1U backspace, but this seems to address that.
I have one of these and a number of other Filco boards from the old days and they are very solid. In fact this has been around so long it's now got a retro appeal especially in these colors. The only criticism of Filco boards I have is that they can be a bit noisy if you don't damp them yourself.
It's possible to order this for less though.
PixelPusherXXI saw that too but you get over $15 drop pts credit here. Not instant credit but i'm down to wait and then get a decent discount on something else later. Not like this is the last thing i'll buy on here lol.
