These tops do not sport the longest spin times but are ascetically very pleasing. and very well made. The process of learning to improve your spin is very rewarding and with practice and a base you can expect to get 3-5 minutes of spin off of the Titanium top however it's still far more fun then spinning my Vorso.
I do have a question if someone from Foreverspin is here:
Is the base offered here the same one being sold on your site? the photos on the drop page seem like it's an all metal model vs the glass currently being sold. I'd love a chance to buy anything "limited edition" - I've seen talk of "mystery" tops being sold in the past... also, why no Zinc!?

Support got back to me and it just seems that they didn't see the dent in the pic initially which is why they asked that question. Once i sent the pic back with a circle around the dent they were very apologetic and seem happy to help. I have an RMA now and will send it back and hopefully get one that is in good shape back!! Thanks a lot.. just miscommunication. Thanks a lot also for replying here Jonas!

Thanks for the update that you have no update but will update us with an update at a later date once you have an update. I'm just glad my first experience here is for a dinky little toy instead of an expensive high end enthusiast device.

Telling people you would ship an item ten days before Christmas and then not even letting us know the merchandise even exists is not the way to run a business that would like repeat customers. This is the gift a child asked me to get him. I just ordered a brass one from Amazon that will arrive in time. If these massdrop do not arrive in time for Christmas, I will refuse delivery and file credit card dispute. Amazon has six more brass ones for $30 if anyone else needs to save Christmas like me.

pordssam89I have one of those! I never tried for a record spin but typical spins are 3-4 minutes. It's pretty fun! There is a kickstarter campaign right now for a hand machined top with a sapphire sphere...might be worth checking into.

I hate to be a buzzkill on Massdrop, but since this is for the 1.0 top, I did the math; you can get the larger, faster, better proportioned titanium 2.0 top on kickstarter for only $3 USD more (remember USD has slightly higher value than Canadian dollars!) Thought you all should know!
